Contributes to the development and design, testing, deployment and support of our Industrial Internet of Things products and solutions. This position requires direct interface with external customers and internal multifunctional team members (hardware and software engineering, Quality Assurance, program management, business development, and pre-sales engineering personnel).  Target customers are all based in the USA with some travel for on-site work required.

Customer meetings and on-site solution development and installations:

  • Demonstrations of customer use cases and workflow and solution, on-line and in-person
  • On-site installation and site surveys
  • Development of technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials

Customer Solution Evaluation and Testing:

  • Creation of physical and software environment that mirrors the customer solution
  • Develop Integration and testing of customer solution
  • Documenting test results and creating tickets and follow through on issues/bugs and new feature requirements


  • Maintain and follow through on customer tickets (features, bugs, activities)
  • Document customer visit reports
  • Answer support calls, customer emails and internal communications


  • Develop and conduct training materials for external customers
  • Translate technical features and functionality into customer observable features
  • Train new company personnel on solutions

Education & Experience:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of RF communications or identification systems
  • Experience with networks, light software development or systems (SQL scripting, Windows installation, Database design)
  • Experience with customer engagement and resolution of customer issues


  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction


  • Exceptional communication skills and experience with dealing with challenging customer situations

Other considerations:

  • US Military Veterans preferred but not required
  • Occasional (15 – 25%) domestic travel
  • Active US DoD Secret Clearance or Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance
